This definitely does what it is designed for.
I bought this to ensure my new rack was squared up. This bar helped give the rack an even more sturdy feel.

highly recommend for additional support
we have tile floors in our basement and didnt want to put quick bolts into the ground.. 10/10 recommend if you don’t plan on anchoring your rack to the ground! it’s severely helped with the racks unintended movement

Some consistency would be nice
Why is this only available in gloss black when the logo plate crossmember is only available in matte black and uprights and other crossmembers are available in many different colors?
