Does not fit rack with Ares 1.0 attachment
These straps are great quality and make but unfortunately there is a major design flaw with the rack connectors. Both straps have the same orientation when they connect to the uprights. This is not a problem if you don’t have pulleys/cables connected to your front uprights but if you have the area 1.0 like me then you will run into the same problem as me. When attaching the strap holder to the front upright you will have to push the cables out of the way each time you need to adjust them. I would call this incompatible with the ares and it should be listed in the product description. While minimal this action can cause additional friction on your cable system and unnecessary wear and tear. The only thing REP needed to do to solve this problem was make a left and a right connector so that the right side connectors could face the other way and not have any interaction with the pulley system. For how much these straps I would have expected this problem would have been caught and resolved.

Strap safety
Sturdy and strong

I love these!
I got the safety arms first, because I thought the straps would be hard to set up, not knowing how much they'd give. But these are very sturdy, and I don't have any trouble with setup. I like that I can put the front and back at different heights. I also like putting them at the lowest hole on my rack for deadlifts. They're very soft on the bar, even though they are so strong. Highly recommend!
