Foxy Sweater 18" Doll Clothes Knitting Pattern

I am almost finished knitting this cute little fox sweater, and have a few suggestions for making the pattern more user friendly. I feel that too much is assumed by the designer of this pattern; having said that, I think with a little more explanation and more pictures for visual learners it would be a great little knit! I consider myself a solid intermediate knitter, with several years of experience knitting many techniques. I was very confused when the pattern reached the point where the sleeves are joined to the body of the sweater. The pattern states you may want to use dpn's when connecting the sleeves, but it doesn't give further details on how exactly this is done. A couple of pictures here would make a huge difference. Pictures of joining the sleeves are needed too in my opinion.
