I made the rashie for my daughter, she loves it. It was easy to make

I loved making this suit - it was my first time making swimwear and the instructions made it really easy! I did make a few modifications based on features from RTW suits I own: - lined the front and back as my fabric is quite thin. I attached the lining to the outer before starting sewing and treated the pieces as one (the seams are visible on the inside); - took in the sleeves to prevent drag in the water; - added a zipper placket inside the suit to prevent scratching, with a foldover part at the top to tuck the zipper pull in; - I messed up the bottom part of the zipper so had to make a "tab" to cover the hole. Overall I really like this pattern, I'm looking for fabric to make a new suit for this summer. I'll probably try and make the bum a bit more cheeky, let's see how that works out :)
