I've made this many times in both "All Grain" and "Extract". This never fails to please!

Missing ingredients

Love the extras that were sent with the kit but I was missing the main ingredients (grains). They sent it out a week or two later which was nice but I paid for the (Sud)scription so we'll see how this works out.

Great recipe kits and a surprise makes it fun

Recipe kit comes with everything including rice hulls. I received a Dead Ringer IPA on my first sudscription kit and I received two dead ringer glasses as a gift for joining. I decided to try this out for once every 3 months. As a brewer that kegs, I wish there was an option in the sudscription to get fast pitch instead of fast prime because the fast prime cans I received will likely never get used meanwhile I enjoy making yeast starters with fast prime when I use liquid yeast. I do think the sudscription is excellent for the brewer that bottles but not every brewer does bottling. That is the only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5. I am a big fan of stouts myself and I have a spruce beer recipe I regularly make from scratch but I joined the sudscription to try to explore new recipes and I like surprises once in a while
