Obi Ron’s - Blood Orange Style

Let me preface my review by mentioning this beers namesake is my favorite spring/summer beer. Can’t wait for the release each spring. That said, a couple years ago they released a blood orange version and it was great. Since they haven’t released this version since, I thought I’d give this a try while adding blood orange extract before bottling. The end product was well received by family & friends (also fans of the namesake beer). End product was 4.99ABV and you could certainly tell it’s very close to the original. I’ll be back for more soon. Nice job putting this one together!

Great kit

Really enjoyed this kit and have used it 3 times so far. The chinook IPA came out a little darker and bitter than I was expecting but it was still good. In fact it got better as it aged in my keg. The brew kit quality is pretty good for the money spent as well. Would recommend.

Excellent starter kit! I have brewed on and off for many years. Gave up all my equipment when I moved several years ago, but decided I wanted to brew again. Quality equipment. Quality ingredients. Easy to follow instructions. Bottling this Saturday. Couldn’t be happier!
