My 6-year old grandson loves the sesame when he visits. I mentioned to his Mom that I was going to NY and he piped up "for more NY sesame bagels, yum?" No, I have them mailed to me and arrive fresh the next day. No more Costco or local bagels for us or my neighbors who share my 3-doz shipment.

These bagels brought back such sweet memories of growing up in Brooklyn and commuting into the city for school. I went to Norman Thomas High School in NYC, headed to class every morning with a bagel in hand, worked in the Empire State Building, and later attended Court Reporter School right there in the city. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, and I didn’t leave until I went on Active Duty in the Army, where I proudly served for 22 years before retiring. When I saw these bagels online, I had to order them — and I’m trying not to be a glutton because every single one is delicious. I’m going to share them with my grandchildren too, since they’ve never had a real New York bagel before. Thanks so much.
