The pack is intelligently designed for fit and function. I've got it loaded for rucking at 56lbs and it carries the load well. Weight transfers to the hips and shoulders without discomfort. I've used lots of packs, from mountaineering backpacks to 20+ years of military rucks, and this pack is one of, if not, the best I've used. Thanks for such a great rucksack!
