Stout bag! Goal is to backpack more with it this summer. Been walking with 35lbs in the hills and it holds weight very welll, i like the spotter pouch because i can put rain gear or another layer in there along with the tp pouch.

Approach 2800
The refinements to the latest Approach have this pack approaching perfection. The additional storage space, the expanded spotter pocket, the side pocket for tripod, the trekking pole slots on the back, the wrap around zipper for access, the addition of the interior pockets. They really fine tuned this version, making it one of the very best day packs available if you like to go in ultralight and come out heavy. Two thumbs up for the attention to detail and functionality. I would normally have some constructive criticism on how to make it even better, I got nothing. . . Cody R.
