R3 3300

I bought it in Coyote for an upcoming SOF contract in a desert environment, so I haven’t gotten to truly use it yet except for putting some weight in it for proper pack fitting. That being said, I also already own two other SG R3 packs…the R3 5900 and the R1 2200. Both of those are in Multicam, and both are outstanding packs for my uses. My only possible issue would be if I ever decide to run the 3300 with the R3 lid. The 3300 does not have the center strap on the frame side in order to keep the R3 lid from “migrating”. Of course, this could be mitigated if SG supplied the R3 lid with some type of retrofit strap kit to rig the center strap and SRB on the lid to either the pack bag or the R3 frame. But, that is actually not a mission-stopper for me in any way. I’m sure I could figure out something. Otherwise…I am incredibly pleased with my new pack, just like all of the other SG products I have purchased. Top-shelf kit, all the way!

Great pack, super light for what you get.

Very happy with the pack I got (R3 3300 Multicam). Very well made and lightweight. I haven’t had it out in the field/mountains yet, but some weight in it for fitting purposes, it is crazy comfortable. Looking forward to adding more weight and getting some miles in rucking.
