It is beautiful, but it is too small. Also, one has to be very careful when placing waste in the bin as some waste can slip through the space between the bin and the inside insert. I lined the inside with a paper towel and that was an improvement to trying to keep it clean.

Bin very good - Bags for bin HUGE ISSUE

Its a little bulky, however, its as described and we used it everyday. BIGGEST ISSUE - the bags that are supposedly the size for this trash bin aren't big enough and extremely weak. Every time I go to put one on the bin, it rips at the top so the opening of the bags are too small for the mouth of the bin.

Great Counter Top Food Waste Caddy

Over two years ago I decided to start seperating food waste for composting, and this container is great at controlling odors, and keeping things nice and tidy. The high quality of the compostable bags means no leaks or tears and the charcoal filter does a great job. I like the wide opening which allows transfer directly from a cutting board where round containers fail. The inner container lifts out for transport to the compost bin and can be easily washed if soiled. This was a replacement for another brand container, and is leaps and bounds above at controlling odor. Wonderful product!
