I am genuinely curious who will read my review of trash bags, but here goes. These are, without question, the perfect trash bags for the Joseph Joseph IW7. Why? Because Joseph Joseph made them specifically for the IW7. This is not a spiritual match. This is not “close enough. ” This is not some off-brand bag bravely attempting to understand the contours and emotional needs of a very particular trash can. This is the bag. The intended bag. The bag that fulfills the prophecy. It fits. It holds trash. It cinches exactly the way it is supposed to cinch. It sits in the bin without weird bunching, sagging, stretching, or any of the small trash-bag indignities we have all quietly accepted for too long. It holds the correct amount of trash, in the correct shape, with the correct relationship to the lid and liner. It does not try to reinvent trash storage. It simply performs its duty with quiet excellence. The rating system for trash bags is curious, though. What exactly is a 3-star trash bag? Is that a bag that technically works but disappoints you on a human level? Is 4 stars good, or is it secretly bad because it failed to achieve 5? Are we grading on durability, fit, emotional resonance, or the absence of catastrophic leakage? In this case, I am comfortable awarding the full 5 stars. Not because this trash bag changed my life, but because it did the rarest thing a product can do: it was exactly what it claimed to be. So, future purchaser, take my blessing as gospel: this is the bag for the IW7. There is nothing better. There is nothing more precisely suited to the task. You could search for alternatives, compare dimensions, read forums, take measurements, and convince yourself there is a cheaper substitute out there. But eventually, you will arrive here, humbled, wiser, and holding the correct trash bag. Buy these. Put them in the trash can. Throw things away. Know peace.
