“Good enough for Government Work”
Was finding it hard to find an economical, non-gaming mouse for M3 MacBook Pro, due to Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 compatibility. Gave this mouse a shot, and it has performed better than anticipated. I am using the Bluetooth at the 33’ threshold, and it is working smoothly. Recognized the mouse and speed is adequate for the mundane (spreadsheets and internet browsing). Once in a while, when opening several files with graphics, the left and double click may become slow. I have found that a right click “OPEN” works very well to quickly open these files in repetitive volume. I am pleased with this investment, over spending $80-$100+ on a gaming mouse that also has Thunderbolt 4 incompatibility issues. Should I ever need more speed, I will invest in a Thunderbolt 4 to USB C adapter, for a stronger connection. Make sure you research any USB device to be used with your MacBook Pro Thunderbolt 4 port, as some do not fit properly and can damage the port. Once mouse tech catches up with Thunderbolt 4, maybe I’ll upgrade to a more sophisticated mouse, but I am grateful for this budget-friendly mouse that suits my everyday needs well. It is certainly worth the price, and I’m glad I gave it a chance, before throwing away money on something that still has its own compatibility issues. If you don’t need a gaming mouse, this mouse performs as smoothly as any previous Logitech I’ve used.
