The Tecknet doorbell works perfectly. I purchased a condo that did not have a bell. I was tired of people banging on my screen door. I really enjoyed the set up. I simply plugged it in and now people can ring my bell.

Simple solution, no electrician required

In the world of Ring video devices, now and then, you just want a simple doorbell. My Tecknet was perfect for my needs. My old doorbell was defective after many years, with hard wiring to a power source and audio device. Rather than pay for an electrician, I bought a Tecknet with one ringer. The downside is that you lose one half of an indoor double electrical outlet, and the upside was a perfectly great ringer (with choices of ringtones and volume) requiring no batteries. And no wiring or electrician is required.

Couldn’t be any easier to set up. Literally 10 minutes. Works great and I really like fact that doesn’t lose use of an outlet
