For the low end of neutral sound category, this is very good rating. I also got the Crinacle ZERO RED for bass boosting. This is good for calm and jazz music.

Hexa has a very clear and detailed sound compared to my reference (audio-technica M50). But bass frequencies roll off way too high for my taste. If I had known the bass would be markedly deficient, I would have waited and bought higher priced IEMs. I bought these to plug into my Quest 3. I prefer the native sound of the Quest and only use these only when I want privacy. Through my headphone amp, the sound is tolerable but through the Quest 3 the bass just disappears leaving a thin and hollow sound.

I bought these just for fun after watching Resolve's gushing review but they're just not very good. They weren't very much money so it's not that big a deal but I won't want to listen to these much. Probably give them away. The bass, while having a nice physical aspect delivered by the DD, is muddy, especially the upper bass and it wrecks up the midrange. Transients, attack and decay are poor. A muddy mess. To say it's smooth is putting it too nice. It's smeared. Separation is poor or bad. Timbre is quite bad. Treble is grainy. Soundstage seems weird to me. Like it's in the back of my head - not forward and high like at least I think it should be. I'm not disappointed or anything but these are really not even worth buying.
