Yes, love the glass carafe, I tried over the years and this is the best solution other than espresso. But had a issue with the glue. Your glue comes apart a temp of 100C which cost me a broken glass carafe while washing it.. As a safety, a second cap lower would help or make the surface of the cap larger, it is too smaill . As a preventive addon, i use a couple of elastic band which makes the glass less movable. I do not like the insulated carafe for two reason, expensive and secondly not matter the filter as the ground will still give out a different taste in the long run. So i transfer to a insulated carafe.. Lastly the process of pushing the on the plunger needs a steady state but the initial force is different as you push it down, so what i do is i try to turn, my way of distributing evenly the force, maybe in the top cap could change it ?
