AeroPress Coffee Maker - Premium

Terrible. I have used the original AeroPress at my office for a long time and love it. Great coffee, easy to use. I purchased the AeroPress premium for my home and was planning on purchasing more as gifts, but I am really disappointed. So far, I have made 6 cups and only one has been drinkable. The others have allowed most of the grounds to drain down into the cup. There are other problems as well: - It is way too heavy. - The opening is not wide enough for the scoop to fit into the cylinder so grounds end up getting spilled all over the table. - Heed the warning on the bottom… the metal filter is so hot that it will burn you. Unfortunately, using the AeroPress even once disqualifies returning it. So I now have a very heavy $200 paperweight that I will likely just throw away. Any product that costs this much should have a decent return policy backing it up.

I love the aeropress premium. I also got the stand and when it is racked, it looks like a piece of art on my counter. Making coffee with this is quick and easy- zero grounds make it through to my coffee cup! And the flavor that it brings out in the beans is so good Ive stopped using creamer!

Great product for the aesthetic & for those avoiding plastics. Otherwise, the product is a bit overpriced & underwhelming. 3 stars for the satisfying smooth press you get with the glass.
