XPA-DR2 Differential Reference™ Two-Channel Power Amplifier

Xpa-dr2 amp

Pleased with the purchase overall. Sound appears to have more detail and depth with the xpa. However it seems l really have to turn the volume up to achieve this when compared to my basx2 amp. Has any one experienced this phenomenon????

Needed to replace my 40 year old yamaha m80. This amp sounds awsome paired with my emotiva PT2, and ERC4.

Last Amp You'll Ever Need

I have this paired with an XDA-3 DAC/preamp and it is a wonderful sound!! There's something a little different when you have an amplifier with what is basically limitless power. It truly sounds effortless with absolute control of the speaker drivers. I have some speakers that are very difficult to drive and this thing just laughs at them. The best I can do is to get it slightly warm. I prefer the OG Emotiva look but I wanted to keep the black screws for contrast so I got some Cerakote and coated the trim pieces on all my equipment. I really love everything I've purchased.
