Excellent Clarity, Stage, and Comfort

I’ve been really impressed with the Dan Clark Audio E3. It has a very nice sense of stage, and the separation between instruments is excellent. Everything comes through cleanly, and I’ve been amazed by the clarity. When I close my eyes and listen, the music really comes to life and feels immersive, like I’m inside it rather than just hearing it. I’m using it with an iBasso DX340 and Amp 18, and this pairing has sounded excellent to me. They’re also very comfortable to wear for longer listening sessions, which makes it easy to just relax and get lost in the music. The included case is nice as well. My only minor criticism is that folding them into the case can feel a little clumsy at first, but it’s not a big issue and doesn’t take away from how much I’ve enjoyed the headphone overall.

Best closed back

Definitely the best closed back that sounds open around. I had several cable's break but they promptly replace them so that is good. Definitely clampy for some heads and not great isolation.

Exceptional closed back headphones. Strong bass, warm/lush mids and detailed highs/excellent resolution. Best I’ve heard at any price point.
