Midrange Beauty

I’ve never gotten on with the legendary HD 600, but these step up to the plate with incredible midrange. The driver is a beast, and takes to bass EQ like few other headphones I’ve owned. A bit on the bright side, but they’re smooth so it doesn’t bother me at all. I imagine these will mellow out a bit as the ear pads wear in. Lightweight and comfortable, and the included cable is a rare keeper. All in all, a knockout pair of headphones.

Hedd D1 - Exceptional Design & Performance

Been doing this since 2010. Many headphones, Dacs, Amps. High dollar 5K+ to the $199 type. Dynamics, Planars etc. Very different driver material, thin carbon material. These new D1's are very different from the OG Hedds and the follow on GT's, in a very good way. Exceptional clarity and accuracy. Wonderful ability to articulate the details in a song. Easy to drive, scales like awesome with gear. Well built, fairly light weight, good cables. This IMO is easily one of not the best under 1K headphone out there. It easily outclasses the HD 600, 650, 6xx series. Yes cost a tad more, but its worth the extra cost. Just an all around awesome headphone! No pun intended!

they sound great, they feel great, wish the price was a bit lower but after years of searching for "the headphone" i feel like i have it
