Meze Audio Empyrean II | Open-Back Isodynamic Hybrid Planar Headphones

I have been listening to Audeze LCD-X for years and I like them but Empyrean 2 are completely on another level . I’m glad I pulled the trigger and got them . Nice bass , clean highs but not harsh , detailed but not analytical . Very musical and really enjoyable for pretty much all genres . Highly recommend

The Best of the Best

This is almost perfection in audio form. I really didn't think things could get better from the Strada and Poet. I am continually left shocked at what this headphone can do. Bass is immaculate, the mid is warm, and the treble sparkles just enough. I just wish I had a better amp to drive it (even though it doesn't need it). I do enjoy using the Emp. II for classical and jazz. I prefer the Poet for most other vocal genres. The Emp. II is still amazing at everything, and would be a suitable all-rounder for someone who wants one headphone.

Great sound but..

Really these headphones sound amazing, so I will give them four stars on that alone. However, they were not comfortable for me in the slightest. They became very uncomfortable for me after about an hour or so. If you're someone who is not prone to getting hot spots on the top of their head then I would recommend these ten times out of ten.
