The FareWinds Merino-LR Base System 1/2 Zip is high quality. The fit is perfect and layers very well. The camo is awesome and material is dead quiet. Best of all its made of merino. Very happy with this base layer.

I originally bought this just to try in the hopes I could find an alternative to previous base layers, but after wearing it extensively late season with great results for comfort, warmth, and ease of use in building a great system for all temps. I have added multiple pieces of this item to my gear bag, and it has fast become one of my favorite items and not just for layering. I run it as a solo piece quite often.
