Zone7-Versa Vest - A must have piece
This vest has proven to be a wonderful piece of gear (like each Code of Silence garment), and coupled with other Code of Silence gear pieces, you have the ability to create a system that is not only effective, but comfortable while keeping you warm and silent - a must for late season bow hunting. Code of Silence breeds confidence in the field!

Great vest!
Great vest all around! Quiet, comfortable, and great features! Had to exchange for different size (received as a gift) and COS was awesome to work with! 5 stars for sure!

Solid vest
Overall a good vest and would buy again. I originally ordered the L but returned for a Medium. I'm 6' and about 165/170 lbs, athletic build with the beginnings of dad bod. The L was very big on me in the chest - when I first tried it on I immediately thought I'd need the M. As far as features, it's a fine vest for mid to later season depending on where you hunt. Most recently I wore it for a whitetail hunt in Alabama in mid January 2026 and it did fine. It kept my core warm as I wore a Brynje merino mesh base layer with the Code of Silence Matrxx hoody over the top. With the vest, I managed down into the high 30's with no problem. It's a very quiet vest and the fleece is akin to the Sitka fanatic lineup for those familiar. I have several Sitka items, including the Fanatic vest, and the Fanatic vest will remain my go-to for late season hunting. I like the collar height on the Sitka more, and that it has a fold down magnetic flap so as not to interfere with the bow string upon release. Like Sitka, this garment in a Medium has more of a "short cut" to it - but I think that's all by design. And by me being 6' tall, I'm probably on the upper end as far as height goes to where the Medium fits the best. So these two reasons are why I'd give it 4 stars instead of 5 - I think it's about an inch or two too short, and the collar could stand to run higher. But it's fine and I'll be keeping it.
