Great shoe; very versatile

I love the olive color! Works with brown, blue, beige, tan etc.

Beautiful Shoes

The shoes are great and the folks at Grant Stone are very easy to work with. It took me two pairs to dial in my sizing (I ended up going a full size down compared to lace-up shoes or sneakers) and my exchange was processed swiftly. The shoes come well-packed and with some goodies, which was a nice touch. They were a lot more comfortable on the first wear than I had been preparing for, and have broken in nicely within just a handful of wears. I'm always looking for excuses to wear them now. Looking forward to picking up a few more pairs! They aren't perfect, however: beyond the aforementioned sizing issue, the pair that I've ended up with are not precisely the same size, and one of the loafers is slightly roomier in the heel than the other. This was causing an annoying heel sleep which I correct with a combination of an extra layer of thin socks and a tongue insert, which just about do the trick. The feeling is that the left shoe is something like a "quarter size" too big, but luckily it was corrigible. Not a big deal; loafers are difficult to size and there's bound to be some variation in manufacturing. All in all a lovely experience, a great pair of shoes, and I will be buying more in different colors.
