The Jack in Coal Waffle

The waffle fabric is super unique and makes this shirt worth the price. Fit is perfect and very comfortable. I'm glad I ordered multiple “The Jack” shirts. Definitely recommended. (~5'9" 170lbs wide shoulders = size M).

Major Shrinkage

This Coal Waffle shirt shrank 1.5" in every direction after one wash. I send my shirts to a professional laundry that always does a great job. They wash cold and -- for this shirt -- did not press. Note that I also sent a Forest Waffle shirt along with this Coal Waffle -- and that one did not shrink at all. It retained the original measurements. Why? What could be so different between two shirts of the same material? The Jack Oxfords are all OK. But the Coal Waffle is now unwearable, with sleeves and body way too short for me. I guess I will donate it to Goodwill or Salvation Army. Very disappointing, especially at this price point.
