Adjustable Corker

I am bottling about 60 gallons of wine right now, 300 bottles or so. The device is functioning well. You must have the bottle directly below you where you can put your weight as you push down. I will try some #8 corks to see if that makes it easier. Looking at the mechanism, it is built with some what light weight metal on the handles for pushing down. If I had more to bottle next year, I would check out the Portuguese corker.
