Making the Change
The Five Minute Journal is a simple and easy way to get started on a journaling practice. I use it for my clients that don't like to journal, are hesitant or don't know where to start. Easy, smooth, accessible. Makes a great gift to gently nudge someone toward self-reflection. And it looks cool. Cheers

More than a journal, a daily return to myself
This journal is very special to me, and it became much more than something I ordered and write in. My connection with it actually started before the journal itself. I first followed Alex and Mimi through their journey, their YouTube videos, and what felt like remote mentorship at a time when I was also trying to understand myself, my life, and what I wanted to build. For the last three years, I have written constantly, with small pauses, and I am now on my fourth Five Minute Journal, not counting two others I filled in my own agenda. I think I only started taking it truly seriously after finishing the first full journal, because that was when I began to understand the power of the habit. The biggest realization came in the pauses. When I stopped writing, I would slowly feel my mindset turning more negative. At first I would not connect the dots, but then I would realize that I needed to come back to this practice mentally, especially during darker phases. For me, the journal is a gentle way of hijacking the negativity bias we all carry, especially in this fast paced, agitated, energy draining life. Every morning and evening, it guides me back to something better. It forces me to notice what is still good, even when the day feels heavy. It has become part of my life in the same way my phone or wallet are always beside me. My partner and I write at the same time, in the morning and at night, and sometimes after a couple of months we read parts to each other, almost like auditing our days out loud. It is honestly amazing. There is also something very real about seeing the pages fill up. You see them growing, and you realize how fast life moves. The present becomes the past so easily, while we sprint through moments, always craving the next goal, the next purpose, the next version of life. This journal grounds me periodically. It helps me use my attention differently, to see more of the things I am grateful for. And somehow, I never really run out of things. Even on days when I feel extremely down or sad, I can still find one small thing to be grateful for. I am also writing this review as a thank you to Alex and Mimi. Thank you for being, for struggling, and for having the courage to bring this product into the world. You are unknowingly mentors to me in my own journey, and I think you should hear this more often. Through this journal, you are touching people and spreading love in a way that is real. Hopefully, I am on a similar road in my own life, and I hope to inspire people one day the way you inspired me. To be a better person, to ask more from myself and my life, to become more positive every day, and to take the leap. Four years later, I would not want to skip a day of writing in this journal. With love and gratitude.

Simple, grounding daily routine
On my busiest days, the Five Minute Journal feels like just the right amount of effort. It gives me a simple, structured way to start and end my day without feeling overwhelming. I appreciate how it helps me pause, reset, and consistently remind myself of what I’m grateful for.
