The concept of a dual visible and UV ring light is good but the implementation is poor. The clear cover that protects the LEDs is made of polycarbonate, a plastic that blocks the transmission of almost all UV light. With the cover in place there is virtually no UV light output. Removing the cover allows the UV to get out but sadly the output power of the UV emitters very low.

Solid Construction

Feels solid and well constructed and I like the dimmer control function.

We love the light and it doe snot get hot and burn your hands like the old lights do.
