Great Value AmScope 4x/N.A. 0.10 160/0.17 Achromatic Objective Lens

I bought it to use for taking Macro photographs with my vintage Leitz Microscope and with digital camera with extension tubes and/or bellows. So far I have only tested it with my microscope and camera mounted on the microscope. It seems to perform as expected and very well. And it is not pricy and is a good value. It performs a bit different from its design as my scope has a 170mm tube and not a 160mm camera tube. Seems the magnification thus is more than 4x.

Very good objective for macro photography indeed. If you remove front cover (slip) is working distance to subject more than enough for setting the flash. Manufacturing quality is great, images are sharp. Delivery in Europe very fast (1 week). All in all I am very pleased with purchase and will order again from AmScope.
