Nice widefield eyepieces, Works in a telescope with adapter

These 1.18" (30mm) eyepieces do not fit in the 1 1/4 inch telescope fittings. I had some stainless steel strips and with a bit of work hammered them around a mandrel and made adapters. They work well for wide view low power eyepieces. I would not recommend this unless you are the type to say, "I can make this work," and will proceed to do so. I had a couple 80mm telescopes to sell that needed eyepieces. Cost was important to me.

I already had a pair of eyepieces not much different than these, the only difference in fact is 2mm on the objective lens and even though it sounds very minimal I can see a slight difference in brightness, a bit brighter, and of course, the viewing area increased a bit too. Over all, this was a good purchase and I am happy with them.
