Why didn't I buy this months ago?

This is a perfect objective for observing pond critters! I now have 4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x and the 20x is the perfect objective for fine detail on cilliates and other pond life because you still have some focal length but can see fine details up close. With 60x and even 40x the moving protist is hard to keep in the field of view and the low focal length make it difficult to maintain sharp relief, hence this perfect solution! It will not work as a dark-field (patch stop) objective but it is very clear and affords the microscopist a happy medium between moderate and high magnifications.
