Lovely dress, easy to follow

I love this dress. The workshop was easy to follow and I love the end result. A comfortable wearable dress, and I’ll be replicating in other fabrics and colours!

Amazing first workshop

I absolutely loved this workshop. It was my first real venture into sewing and man was it a great starting point. The videos were very detailed while still being short and to the point. Following along with the videos and instructions was super easy and made the whole project run smoothly for me. It went so well that when I finished I bought more Tilly and the button patterns and felt I have the foundational skills to continue on my own.

Wonderful Tilly

I am quite new to sewing and really didn’t have much confidence, I had bought an overlocker so really was an “all the gear and no idea” person. I was despairing, I had tried doing patterns and just didn’t understand the language used in them. I scoured the internet for some sort of online course and came across Till and The Buttons sew along easy dress. I have to say it is not perfect but I wore it yesterday and felt very proud. Most things I have tried to make are unwearable, which was becoming an expensive hobby. I plan to do another workshop with Tilly in the future. Very clear instructions and just wonderful for me as I can use the lessons to refer back to.
