Stair Step Rug

My husband and I wanted a rug for our hallway. This looked like a good pattern that could be doubled so it would cover more of the hall. We choose more neutral colors (steel and storm) but added the brick stripes for contrast. I'm pleased with the way it came out even though there are a few mistakes I made in the weaving. The yarn was easy to use.

This was my first foray with weaving a rug! The yarns were easy to work with and I was pleasantly surprised that the pattern design was asymmetrical.
