8 Shaft Subscription

I've been weaving since the 1970 off and on. Mainly artwork with handspun.. Getting back into it I needed to push myself and this subscription was the perfect way. I have now made every mistake possible IT SEEMS getting back into 8 harness projects. I am getting to be a MUCH better weaver and having fun. The private Facebook group included with this subscription has been wonderful. We share hints and shed a few tears over REDOs, unweaving etc. Everyone is so supportive. Now about the PROJECTS: one of the reasons I joined this subscription are the COLORS and the great PROJECTS shown for box one. Not just samples but total complete projects each with multi treadling options and two of the three projects made 3 or 4 completed items, ready to give to family or friends this year. Now I have to wait a couple more weeks for the next BOX.

8 shaft subscription

I started the yellow towels in the package. This is my first 8 shaft warping. I started with the yellow so I did not have to count as much on the warp board. The dressing of the loom went better then expected. Glad the hand out had a picture of the plain weave. Recommend this to new weavers.
