I have tried different electrolyte powders but never found one that I was consistent with. Since I started taking Ath-Lytes (orange flavor), I have not missed a day. The flavor is just the right balance of sweet and salty.

My wife and I belong to a bike club and we ride several times a week despite the heat. We also have horses and when do you think farmers bale hay... in the hottest days of summer! So, I've had plenty of opportunities to test my new-to-me Lytes electrolytes. There is a slight salty taste on the outset, which is soon replaced by a smooth, not overpowering fruity overtone. Very nice. The best feature to me is that I do not get dizzy or exhausted easily in the heat when I am drinking this product. If we are riding 20+ miles, I will usually have a couple water bottles with the Lytes. For hauling and stacking hay, maybe three. I've tried other products. This one is my favorite to date.

Best I've tried

I've tried 3 different brands of electrolytes and this is the best. I love the lemon-lime flavor. I take it 2-3 times/day. One concern is that I take it every day, I add Celtic salt to my jug in between, yet I am still dehydrated. I live in Florida, but normally I don't spend a lot of time in the sun. I don't take many prescriptions, I try to eat some fruit every day and since I'm allergic to many foods, including gluten, casein and some healthy fruits. I just don't know what to do.
