Bunching- Originally from China, Red Beard Bunching Onions were cultivated from a wild bunching cultivar. This onion has red stalks, a mild flavor, and tender leaves. Ideal for soups and sandwiches.

Mine is still in the seedling stage, and I'm looking forward to seeing the red stems. It has a lower germination rate and germinates more slowly than other bunching onions.

everyone needs onions
I love digging these red onions out of the ground to eat with a cold sandwich in the summer.
