I purchased this cable for my HiFiMAN Edition XS Headphones. These plug into my ifi-audio ZEN Signature Set HFM amplifier. While I bought the upgrade cable from HiFiMAN, I wanted to follow ifi's recommendation and use a Balanced cable. I am enjoying the higher definition I am getting from this cable.

Strong and Forward Improvement to Clarity

High quality cable that provides a very high lift in detail and presentation in the higher frequencies. I did need to purchase after-market ear pads for the HE1000se to calm down the top frequencies and alleviate listening fatigue. I also belive I will need to further invest in high quality dacs and tube amps to provide warmth into the music that was provided by the original stock cables for the HE1000se. But those cables were noticeably lacking in detail. Regardless, I am pleased with my purchase and can see a clear path to upgrades to get even better results from these Apos cables.
