AnyTone AT-D578UVIII Plus

GREAT RADIO

578's have so many features I may never get to them all. So far it sounds good & transmission reports are very favorable. My 578 replaced an AT-5888UVIII, which got moved over to my P/U truck. Now have 8 Anytone radios. Guess I like them!

Fantastic Radio for Many Uses

I use my AT-D578UVIII Plus for just about everything that I don't use an HT for. I have it in my shack (even though I also have a Yaesu FT-991A that does 2m/70cm too). I also have it in a Powerwerx bracket with an SS-30DV power supply, and use it for POTA and ARES. I love this radio! It is my all-around 50+ watt VHF/UHF/DMR/220 rig that I cannot do without. I recently won one from B'Com+, so now I can leave one in the shack and take the other with me without unhooking everything. Nice....

Excellent Radio In Every Way

I purchased my first one of these AnyTone 578 radios about six months ago. I use it as a Ham Radio base station, as well as a Police Scanner. It works incredibly well with my rooftop antenna. The radio is built like a tank!
