This refrigerator needed this kit a long time ago. Samsung should have provided it to all the people who purchased it. I'm glad Ben's took the time to correct Samsungs mistake. Thank you very much. Also you have excellent shipping.

Samsung Refrigerator Secondary Heater W/ Moisture Kit

I installed this kit and it seems to be working. Clearly the existing drain tubes were plugged and the new ones now allow water to drain. The insulation and heater wire were easy to install. However, your video shows installing the insulation pads between the metal shield and the evaporator coil which is wrong. You should correct your video. The pads go on the back side of the shield between it and the back of the fridge. Maybe you should include installation instructions with the kit instead of us having to go through the video.

DYI Repair

Purchased the Secondary Heater w/ Moisture Kit to do a home repair on my Samsung refrigerator. Water was collecting beneath the deli drawer, which was a previous problem. Ended up that the issue this time was clogged drain tubes (included in the kit) at the bottom-back of the refrigerator and not the defrost system icing over (I had previously added the longer drain clip, which seems to have fixed the over-icing and defrost issue). The kit was very reasonably priced and the You Tube instructions made it very easy to install the items in the kit.
