CKG Minelab Equinox 600/800 Shaft

Looks and feels Great-ish,(after rework)

I received this to find it needed modifying. The holes for the arm grip on the 800 were not quite big enough, so I had to ream them out. Also the tear drops where the rubber dampers fit for the coil head were also not quite the right shape so the rubber dampers just sit in there loosely. Lastly, even at the tightest I would go, the control unit is a little loose (like the shaft is undersized)

I seen others that had a CKG shaft but when I put it on my machine I could feel the difference. Every little bit helps :)

Not satisfied

Well to start on trying to assemble my unit to the shaft the holes are way too small when put together correctly the advertisement for CKG is on the back of the shop instead of the front in order for the shaft to work correctly with my equinox 800 the holes are going to have to be enlarged and I really don’t want to modify the shaft for my components to fit correctly. I like the look and feel of the product but shouldn’t have to force or modify for my equinox 800 to fit. I would appreciate if somebody would reach back out to me to see if there’s a workable solution
