Perfect Size For Me

I’m 6’4 and 265 fit pounds. I say this to point out that the bag is just the right size. I do wish the padding on the strap covered a bit more of the strap as it seems tall folks end up with just the very end of the padding on the shoulder. I carry a S2C and an extra mag in the CCW area with no issues. I did want a little more compartmentalization in one, so purchased an admin pouch and a few other hook/loop pouches. I also added the ballistic panel which took 30 seconds to install. A small med kit, C.A.T., knife, flashlight and multi tool and I’m ready to go. Great looking bag. Not too tactical and a good neutral color (grey) for my purposes.

Great EDC bag

Throw this in the truck when I leave the house. To give an idea of what it holds: Glock 43X, [2] extra Glock 15 round mags, POM MK3 pepper spray, SOF Tourniquet, Trauma bandage, HyFin chest seals, XShear mini trauma shears, Fenix PD35 3.0 light, Leatherman Sidekick, Civivi Praxis knife, extra cash, power bank for iPhone, mini notebook and Fisher Bullet space pen. Like it enough I bought a spare.

Bottom zippers = lost items

Great bag, great features, great construction. But it has one feature that ended up being a big flaw for me and that’s the ambidextrous design. This means that, regardless of how you carry it, there are zippers on both sides of the pack. As I was hiking, the zippers opened ever so slightly, just enough for items in the bag to start to fall out without me noticing. Having a bag with double zippers inevitably will result in the zippers opening slightly, unless you tether them together, which is what I ended up doing with zip ties. If you’re going to be carrying smaller items, I recommend you tether one side of the zippers together.
