shave cream

Maybe great for legs in the shower, but not for a man at the sink

Any soap I have used has been a much better shave. This oil is tug city. Seems it does not soften the whiskers at all. I also bought a sample size shave soap and it shaved better than the cream by a long ways, but was still subpar. The lather dissipated really quickly and meant reapplying all the time to keep the shave going. The cheapest gel works better than both. I like supporting small artisans, but this stuff is not up to the task for a man's whiskers.

Different, but better

Letting go of my long accepted notion that shaving cream is some foamy lather that coats my face, then leaves it shockingly dry... was easy once I tried the S.A.L. shaving cream. Seriously, the first shave left my face feeling something unlike any other product... moisturized and soothed. This is basically a great face moisturizing product that happens to allow a nice shave. Highest of recommendations
