Sennheiser IE 200 In-Ear Headphones

My grandson hasn’t opened his Christmas gift yet but I very much appreciate your quick delivery and great packaging.

So far, I am extremely disappointed with the sound of the Sennheiser IE200's. I am getting no base, nothing and they have a very bright, tinny sound. I have tried different tips, a new cable and have taped them. I have some additional tips coming in and I hope that these make a difference. I have also tried to tune them using ROON ARC DSP and they are not very tuneable. I can roll off the highs but no base. They are plugged into a Questyle M15 USB Portable DAC & Headphone Amplifier connected to a Pixel 8 Pro phone with ROON ARC using locally located uncompressed FLAC files. The same setup using the Truthear Hexa's sound great. Unfortunately, they will become fodder for the drawer of unused audio gear.
