Strong and comfortable

I love my boots! I guess they are really high top tennis shoes… I go out early in the morning when the ground is damp and can wear these shoes and not get my feet wet! Yes! That is exactly what I was looking for. I have a garden and an orchard and need to have the flexibility to walk in various types of soil.. I have had problems with my big toe. These shoes Give them space to breathe! Looking forward to see what styles LEMS comes up next!

I bought these boots specifically for our trip to New Zealand (I also needed new hiking boots anyway) and I am SO glad I bought these. During our trip we walked/hiked approximately 45 miles, so they got plenty of use! The waterproof-ness was essential during our trip, and I was able to traipse through puddles and streams without giving it a second thought. They also stayed nice and warm when we visited a snowy mountaintop. These are excellent hiking boots, with a very grippy sole, and my feet were never sore or achy, even after our long hikes. Now we are back home, and they are broken in and ready to be used on the AT. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Sized Up

My normal size was too short, and a half size up was out of stock, but I'm making the full-sized larger replacement work. I've been experimenting with different sock thicknesses and two at once. The canvas on this boot tends to bend inward and into my foot, so plush padding feels great. Just completed a long, warm hike, and my feet stayed nice and dry with a thin merino sock and an insect shield sock on top of that. No sweat, even!
