My new favorite!
Light & easy on/off. The tread gives much better traction than standard Lems soles. I picked the pair without waterproofing as I have my last two pairs of Lems boots & they're breathable enough my feet are actually dry at the end of the day. Waterproof boots have a bad habit of trapping sweat against your feet despite the breathability claims most manufacturers make. These have become my first option in the month or so I've had them. Please keep the water resistant(not waterproof) option available & I'll guarantee repeat business. Btw, measure your feet before ordering. I'm wearing a size bigger than I get from other brands & they're snug.

Pretty good
I have been wearing minimalist shoes for over 12 years and it is great to have this type of boot as an option these days. I purchased the all black variant and am really pleased with the look and width. With that being said, the ankle area is really tight and it is very hard to get these on. I also think the rear pull should match the quality of the front. I predict it will wear out with how hard I am pulling. I don’t really care for the placement of front one either, but realized it is necessary to get these on. I have a similar boot from Feel Grounds and prefer the overall ease and comfort of them, but these look more sophisticated and are made from better materials. Perhaps the designers at Lems should look at some of the competitors for inspiration and feel. Maybe it is just my large anatomy. If I am going to spend this much, I don’t want to do battle. However, I will continue to fight to put these on and overall, I still really like them. I guess I know why they call them “Tuff.”
