What can I say, it's a stainless steel kettle with a spout. Adding the false bottom was a smart decision because it helps keep my wife from attempting to make spaghetti sauce in my brew kettle! Spout installation was simple, as was the false bottom assembly. Cleaning after brewing can be a challenge if you don't have the right setup, your standard kitchen sink is probably not deep enough, and the wife will likely frown if you want to use her bathtub. All-in-all, a very nice kettle to start your brewing process.

Loose weldless fittings

The pot itself is sturdy, feelshigh quality. The weldless bulkhead use round o-rings. I have them tightened as tight as I'm comfortable doing without fear of crushing them. It doesn't leak. But the valve moves all over the place when opening/closing. I emailed tech support. My other pot uses flat seals and is tight. It took almost a week for them to get back and suggest the valve will get easier to use over time. All that combined with their non existent return policy, I'll probably go elsewhere next time.
