Pateley Kids Salopettes - Pacific Blue

I bought the coats for my twins some time ago and decided to buy the salopettes, they are really well made. They will be into them next winter when we hope for less rain and more snow for the slopes in Scotland.

Excellent salopettes from tog24, why pay more for big brands? I added this to the basket on a whim when purchasing a down jacket (drax - absolutely fantastic, by the way), as it was priced competitively, and I held out hope that it would be a somewhat better fit than my existing Patagonia pair (being 5ft2, I’ve found it difficult to find technical trousers that fit me lengthwise). I’m usually a size 8, and 14-15 yr was a perfect fit, both leg length and waist/hip, with enough space to fit a base layer and joggers. Completely waterproof - weathered knee-deep snow (gaiters held up really well over the boots) and rain with aplomb, and as a bonus, as it was so well padded, served as soft landing whenever I slipped on sheet ice. Loved the deep zipped pockets, so handy for stashing all sorts of random items. These salopettes are very warm, and I quickly shed the joggers, and simply had them over my base layer in blizzard conditions between -10 to -15C. Colour is more green than blue, but this wasn’t an issue. Although worn constantly, and suffered numerous falls over various terrains, it looked pristine without any trace of dirt or rips. Couldn’t be more pleased with this impulse purchase. Tog24 makes top notch winter gear!
