Adventure Waterproof Insulated Ski Gloves - Optic White

I have small hands and struggle to find a good for. These are good quality gloves, but even extra small is too big for me.

I have worn the gloves away for the first time and they have frayed on the thumb, not sure if a fault or this is a known problem?
