i got it in case we have to. we have so wild fires right now in Colorado better than safe then sorry & we cab share it if some needed it. it's compact & easy to use plus it's versatile front or back use. price was very good. we always use Ruff Wear & have for many years even handing them down from one dog to another. i would tell everyone to get this back back just in case if hike with your dog or emergency evac situation. Ruff Wear products are awesome!!

Good “Just In Case” Item For Your Pack!

Added to the pack for longer day hikes; can be a bit tricky to take out of pouch, and definitely practice and get dog(s) used to it being set up on them. A good piece of gear in case of injury in the trail!

Great peace of mind, hope to never use it

Kit looks very well made, strong stitching on all points with high quality webbing. Shoulder straps seem comfortable enough for the kit’s intended purpose. Packs down very small and is quite light.
