Dragon's Silk Imperial Stout Extract Beer Recipe Kit

Great customer service!

I ordered this kit as a gift for my grandson. The website clearly led me to choose all the necessary ingredients. When checking out, I did not press the right button to get the discount that was offered, so I emailed Northern Brewer and a refund for the appropriate discount was in my credit card account the next day! Then, not knowing anything about brewing beer, I wanted to be sure to refrigerate any ingredients that needed refrigeration before it was time to open the gift on Christmas Day. Once again, Customer Service quickly responded to my question, assuring me that the yeast was the only ingredient that needed refrigeration. I have yet to hear about the resulting batch of beer, but my (college age) grandson was thrilled with his gift!

Add yeast when bottling

My first batch didn't carbonate well, so I added some yeast on the next batch. Good carbonation and better taste.
